Great location, friendly staff, three showers and toilets, bed curtains for privacy, picnic tables.

Felt relaxed, nothing too much trouble.

The atmosphere at the hostel was lively and inviting, thanks to the common kitchen and lounge area. It felt like a cozy living room filled with entertainment options. I even challenged fellow travelers to a game of Nintendo Wii and had a blast!

Nothing could have been better.

I had an amazing experience at this hostel! the facilities, including the kitchen, living room, restrooms, shared room. Everything was kept very clean and tidy. the kitchen had all the necessary equipment for cooking and eating. the shared room was spacious with lockers and comfortable beds. What made my stay even better was the great environment, thanks to the friendly and funny staff, especially Mario, who took care of the guests with a smile and helped with anything we needed. If I ever return to the city, I will definitely choose to stay at this hostel again. Cons: N/A.

We were pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome at check-in with a complimentary shot of homemade Palinca brandy. It was like a little burst of energy, lifting our spirits after a long day of traveling. The friendly staff made us feel right at home, like old friends catching up over a drink.

Noise from the adjacent lounge can be disruptive.

Friendly owner and staff, offered a different room closer to the city center. Good location, just 2 minutes from the main square. Enjoyed watching Eurovision and going out with the staff and other guests. Owner went above and beyond, sending back a forgotten item without charging for shipping. Would definitely stay again.

I recently stayed at Freeborn Hostel for a week, and it was an excellent experience. The hostel has a welcoming and clean atmosphere, with beautifully decorated spaces and a lovely terrace. The team, including Raul, Trell, and Matthew, were incredibly friendly and helpful. They provided great recommendations for local bars, markets, and restaurants. The location of the hostel near a main square was also convenient. it was a fantastic stay in a culturally-rich city, and I would definitely return.

The value for money at this hostel was amazing! The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The location couldn't have been better, right across the street from the castle.

The staff were super friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. The location was great, close to all the main attractions and with parks nearby. The atmosphere was fantastic, with a lovely garden and chillout area where we met friendly and fun people. The room was lovely and they provided all the essentials like a hairdryer, toothpaste, and shower gel.

That there could have been clearer rules for the kitchen, like a strict requirement to wash dishes after use. Other than that, everything was perfect and we had an incredible time at this hostel.
